WASM Dynamic Testing Facility - FEED

Stalteri Engineering Consultants (STALTERI) was engaged to develop the Front-End Engineering Design for an accurate capital estimate of the build of the new facility in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. Historic information of the existing facility were gathered to develop a 3D model to confirm the parameters such as the required building height and spatial space. The GA drawing was used as means for the build-up of the capital estimate from approved contractors and engineering consultants for detail design.

 

The 3D model developed and GA included:​​

 

• Existing overhead crane detail

• New mezzanine floor layout

• Incorporated unique design features of the existing facility 

• Internal foundation block 

• Ducted air conditioner layout arrangement

• Roller and PA Door arrangement

• Concrete pit and ramp details

The project was delivered on time and fulfilled the scope requirements.
